Emergency Appointments

We recognize that many times it is not possible to anticipate needing our services. Many dental emergencies, especially tooth aches, arise during the night. If you awake in pain or have a new dental emergency, call your dentist first. Presumably you have a long standing and trusting relationship with your dentist and he or she is in the best position to diagnose the problem and make the appropriate referral. Your dentist can also effectively facilitate getting you an appointment in our office if needed. If you do not have a dentist or cannot contact your dentist, every attempt will be made to see you the following weekday. Please call our office first thing in the morning to make an emergency appointment.

In most cases, Definitive dental care is usually not available after hours or on the weekends. Your local hospital emergency room or primary care physician can usually provide palliative treatment until your dentist can see you. Dr. Sarka will not make presumptive diagnoses over the phone and will not prescribe medications for patients he has not seen.

All patients of Dr. Sarka’s with post-operative problems, questions or concerns will always be able to speak to Dr. Sarka directly, regardless of the day or time. (207)443-3220.
