Oral Surgery Financial Policy

For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard and CareCredit. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear up any misunderstandings.

 

Oral surgery procedures such as wisdom tooth removal and biopsy are frequently covered by both medical and dental insurance. It is important that you provide us with both your medical and dental insurance information so that we can help you obtain the maximum benefits you deserve. Some medical insurance companies require a written referral from your primary care physician before we can see you. This is your responsibility, so please check with your insurance company prior to your appointment.

We require that you pay any deductibles, co-payments and fees not covered by your insurance company at the time of surgery. Our treatment coordinators will be happy to work with you to determine your insurance coverage and the amount needed on or before your surgical appointment. We are also able to offer no interest payment plans through CareCredit and will be glad to help you apply for these plans if you wish.

All accounts must be paid in full within 30 days from the date of service. Balances not paid within 30 days will accrue finance charges of 1.5% of the balance per month (18% APR). Balances that are not paid after a reasonable time frame will be transferred to our collections agency, and you will be responsible for any collections fees and charges that accrue.

A $25.00 service fee will be added to all returned checks.

Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.
